Physiotherapy

The NMK team are very excited to be announcing the arrival of Anouska Edwards who will be heading the new Physiotherapy service to our clinic.

Anouska is bringing an amazing knowledge base and wealth of experience to the team here at No More Knots. She graduated from the University of Wollongong in 1999 with a degree in Exercise Science then went on to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Griffith University in 2003. In addition to her physio degree she has also completed her Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Griffith University.

Anouska’s work history is rather extensive having worked within private practices in Nth Qld and in Brisbane. In addition to this, 2007 saw her have an interesting opportunity to ride the front of a tandem bicycle with a blind athlete, following this a job with the Paralympics Cycling Team arose where she became the official Australian Paralympic Cycling Team Physiotherapist. She also regularly works with the QAS junior development cycling squads, the national talent identification programmes and the QLD state track team.

As a result of Anouska’s extensive experience, she has a keen interest in cycling/triathlon specific injuries, rehabilitation, biomechanics, technique analysis and coaching, in addition to a strong belief in teaching and educating the client in the principles of self management both in injury prevention, rehabilitation and in working towards a healthier lifestyle.
